Susan G. Komen South Florida Race for the Cure® on January 29
WHAT: NBC’s TODAY Show host, New York Times Bestselling author and breast cancer survivor Hoda Kotb will participate in the 20th Annual Susan G. Komen South Florida Race for the Cure®. A three-year breast cancer survivor, Kotb will serve as the Race Grand Marshall, be honored in the Survivor Celebration and walk in the 5K race to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Hoda Kotb successfully overcame her own battle with breast cancer after being diagnosed in 2007. She used her experience to educate and inspire others, and has been a part of several initiatives to raise awareness about the disease.
In addition, Hoda wrote the New York Times Bestselling book Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer and Kathie Lee. She’ll be signing copies of her book at Jennifer Miller Jewelry, 5 Via Mizner Worth Avenue, Palm Beach from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
